The
statement by Finance minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala that the Federal
Government lacks the require finances to meet the demands of the
striking university lecturers is condemnable, Director of Outreach
Services, Anti-Corruption Network (ACN), Comrade Timi Frank, said
yesterday in Abuja.
He also threatened to mobilise students
and youth against the federal and state governments if by Monday it did
not release the N92 billion demanded by the Academic Staff Union of
Universities (ASUU) by occupying state and federal ministries of
Education in protests.
